Move from Private Pilot to CFII in 8 months through a flexible training pathway in Fort Lauderdale. Built for serious pilots ready to accelerate into an airline career.

1,500 Flight Hours. Guaranteed.

South Florida's Best Value in Training
The Elite Cadet Program is a fixed investment of $60,000, paid in three installments of $20,000 every two months during the 8-month training period. This structure provides financial clarity aligned with each certification phase.
If unforeseen circumstances arise, students may exit the structured track and continue on a pay-as-you-go basis. Any unused funds are refunded according to program terms.

Transparent Investment Structure
The program is built on realistic completion averages, not regulatory minimums. Built-in flight hour buffers and all FAA checkride fees are included to reduce financial uncertainty during training.
This approach minimizes mid-program funding gaps and allows students to focus on performance rather than variable costs.
• Instrument through CFII training
• Five FAA checkrides included
• Built-in flight hour buffers
• Structured installment plan

Elite Cadet Program FAQ
Private Pilot to Airline Career Pathway | Fort Lauderdale & Miami Florida
Who is this program designed for, and is a Private Pilot License required?
The Elite Cadet Pilot Program is designed exclusively for students who already hold an FAA Private Pilot Certificate. This is not a zero-hour program.
Applicants must:
• Hold an FAA Private Pilot Certificate
• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Meet FAA medical standards
• Weigh 220 pounds or less due to aircraft limitations
This program is built for licensed private pilots who are committed to pursuing a professional airline career through an accelerated, structured pathway.
What certifications are included, and how long does the program take?
The certification phase is designed to be completed in approximately 8 months when training full-time with a minimum of five lessons per week.
The program includes:
• Instrument Rating (IR)
• Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL)
• Multi-Engine Add-On (ME)
• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)
Timeline depends on student performance, weather, and FAA examiner availability, but the structure is built to minimize delays and maintain consistent progression.
How does the 1,500-hour pathway work, and is it truly guaranteed?
Upon successful completion of the certification phase, graduates are offered a paid flight instructor position at Dynasty Aviation.
As a full-time instructor in the high-traffic South Florida corridor, you will build flight time toward ATP minimums. If after two years of employment you have not reached 1,500 total flight hours, Dynasty Aviation provides the remaining required flight time at no cost to you.
This ensures you reach ATP eligibility without financial uncertainty related to hour building.
What is the total cost of the program, and how is it structured?
The total program investment is $60,000.
Payment is structured in three installments of $20,000 every two months during the certification phase. This aligns funding with major training milestones and provides financial clarity throughout the 8-month progression.
What does the $60,000 include, and are there hidden costs?
The program is priced based on realistic completion averages, not regulatory minimum flight hours.
Included in the investment:
• All training from Instrument through CFII
• Built-in flight hour buffers
• Five FAA checkride examination fees
• Structured full-time training environment
Because the program includes hour buffers and checkride fees, students avoid mid-program funding gaps and unexpected add-on costs common in hourly training models.
Are there financing options available for prospective Elite Cadet students?
Yes. Dynasty Aviation partners with aviation-focused lenders to provide financing solutions that may cover:
- Flight training costs
- Aircraft rental
- Instructor fees
- FAA testing expenses
Financing options are discussed during admissions review. View more about how to pay for your flight training here.
What happens if I need to leave the program?
If unforeseen circumstances arise, students may transition out of the structured program at any time and continue training on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Any unused funds are refunded according to program terms. This provides flexibility without long-term financial lock-in.
Can I keep my current job while enrolled?
Yes. Students must complete a minimum of five lessons per week, but training operates seven days per week.
This allows you to schedule flights and ground training around work commitments while maintaining consistent progress through the program.
What happens after I reach 1,500 hours?
After reaching 1,500 total flight hours and meeting ATP requirements, graduates are eligible to apply for regional airline First Officer positions.
The Elite Cadet structure is designed to ensure you reach ATP eligibility with:
• Multi-engine experience
• IFR proficiency
• Real-world instructional experience
• High-density airspace exposure
This combination strengthens competitiveness for airline interviews.
Can I Transfer Previously Logged Flight Hours Into the Elite Cadet Program?
Yes. Dynasty Aviation accepts previously logged FAA-compliant flight time and training records for students entering the Elite Cadet Program.
All transferred hours are reviewed by our Chief Instructor to determine how they apply toward Instrument, Commercial, or instructor eligibility. Credit is granted based on logbook accuracy, regulatory requirements under Part 61 or Part 141, and demonstrated proficiency.
Because the Elite Cadet Program follows a structured progression, some students may be required to complete an evaluation flight or knowledge assessment to confirm readiness before advancing into the next certification phase.
If you trained at another Part 61 or Part 141 flight school in Florida or elsewhere, we will conduct a formal record review and outline exactly how your previous training applies before enrollment.
